Whether you or a family member is in hospital for a short time or on a long term basis, we can provide the assistance needed to help make that time as comfortable as possible. We understand that being in a hospital can be stressful and sometimes lonely. We are here to make sure you or your loved one gets the attention and extras that can make a hospital stay easier.
Hospital Services
Everyday is different and so should the services be that support you. These are the many things our team can assist with.
Personal Care
The goal of our in home services is to provide the range of supports that will allow our client’s to remain at home. As your needs change so will our services.
Our staff are certified Personal Support Worker’s or equivalent. They are trained to assist with bathing, dressing, skin care, toileting and general grooming. We know something as simple as feeling clean and fresh can make such a difference to the day.
Activation
Our caregivers provide you the support and security to do the things you enjoy. They can assist with light exercises, accompany you on a walk or break out a deck of cards. It’s about doing the things that make you smile.
Respite
If you have a family member who depends on you but you need a little time to yourself, don’t fret, we are here for you. Whether you need to run some errands or you are going away for a few days, our goal is to give you peace of mind. Our caregivers are here to care for your family like their own so you can take some time without worry.
Our caregivers do not drive, however, they can accompany you shopping or pick up a few items on the way to your home.
Meal Assistance
If you require assistance in the kitchen, our caregivers are here to help you with meals. Whether you need help chopping vegetables or full meal preparation, our caregivers have the skills and knowledge to prepare a dish of your choice.
Overnight Care
We are a 24/7 care company, so if you require overnight care we are here for you. Our caregivers are required to stay awake throughout the night so they are alert should any needs arise.
Light Housekeeping
Someone to meet you after surgery to accompany you home and help make the transition from hospital to home easier and safe.
